Destiny Mosely is proudly from Port Arthur, Tx and that is where you can say the magic began! Her Professional Credits Include: For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Was Enuf (Lady in Green, Obsidian Theatre). Sheep in the Outhouse (Tamaria, short film) Mosely’s Collegiate credits include: Hairspray (Dynamite, Motormouth kid); A Raisin in the Sun (Beneatha); A Macbeth (Witch 1); The Mountaintop (Camae); Pride and Prejudice (Jane).
With these shows she has had the honor of being nominated for the Irene Ryan Scholarship Award on two occasions for her roles in A Raisin in the Sun and The Mountaintop. In which she went on to become the Region 6 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Irene Ryan Scholarship Award Recipient and National Finalist, making her the first black woman from Sam Houston State University to receive this award. In addition to performing, Destiny has lengthy experience with on-air radio, as she has had the pleasure of hosting and talking on her own show. Aside from gracefully succeeding in her acting career, Destiny loves to cook, sing, dance,journal and dress up for no reason in her spare time. Now that she has received her Bachelors in Fine Arts, (May,2021) Destiny plans to pursue a career in performance wherever it takes her, God willing.
